I think so, you should call
Yes, they do.
You can but its busy.
Yes, many kinds. By the slice or whole.
Yes. They do and it's quite delicious.
Yes they have many flavours. I guess you get them by count ( not sure if they sell by weight)
Yes they do. It is not a typical American style carrot cake but it is still very good.
maybe you should call them directly
Yes... and I would highly recommend it!
Although their lunch menu is somewhat limited, the desserts and other bakery offerings NEVER disappoint. Their attention to detail in decorating is wonderful as well. My only problem is narrowing down my desires to two items (one for consumption immediately) and one to savor at home later.
Our new favorite spot! Delicious French pastries & lattes.
Best Cakes and pastries at very reasonable price must try this place
I usually come here for the macarons. They have probably more than 30 flavors at any given time. Most are the usual flavors you'd expect but they've got some different ones as well. Their sugar cookies are also really good. They taste just like my grandma's.
I've been going here for the bakery since I was a little girl. The bakery is AMAZING! I recently began eating brunch and dinner here, and each time it seems that the service gets worse and worse. The first time the waitress seemed to forget about us, even though there were only about 3 tables filled in the entire restaurant. That was fine because she had a great attitude and did give us everything we asked for. The second time was about the same quality of service, except that the restaurant was filled. That was also fine. However, yesterday we sat for about 15 minutes before one of us got water. Just one of four. Then after we got our food she never came back to check on us. We got her attention for a split second as she walked past us (again) just to get more bread which never came. We also had to interrupt her walking and ignoring us to even get the check since we had been sitting for half an hour after finishing eating. I will be sticking to just the bakery from now on.
Food was good. Atmosphere is fine. French onion soup is filling. Quiche Lorraine good, but too much bacon. Yes I said that. The Seafood Crepes is very heavy. Good flavors just a bit much. The bakery is the show stopper. Cakes are the best. Macroons tasty.
Delicious lunch food; you can't go wrong. The desserts.....DIVINE! I'm going back for the Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake; that's a little bit of heaven right there. The macarons aren't too shabby either!
Truly wonderful staff. The cakes and pastries are the best I’ve ever had. I recommend this place to everyone.
Customer service was excellent! The owner was wonderful, gave our kiddos samples and made perfect suggestions on macaron flavors!
My brother and I had an extremely positive experience at La Bonne Bouchee. The french onion soup and bread was delicious and the service was very kind. We met the owner Olivier and he was an extremely warm man who worked hard to make us feel welcome. Their macarons were just delicious as well! The chestnut whiskey flavor was my favorite.
One of our favorite places in St. Louis. Authentic French cuisine and pastries. Always delicious and artful food. Highly recommend!
High quality pastries, sizable portions inviting atmosphere. Come for a coffee and danish, gawk at the cakes and enjoy a few moments in the atmosphere. Here you can acquire a more intimate cake for celebrating any occasion, a greeting card, wine and even trinkets to gift. If you are fortunate enough to come across a personable Frenchman here, indulge in a conversation with him for a feeling of genuine generosity.
What a nice comfortable place, lots of outdoor seating. Onion soup awesome, quiche awesome, bread awesome. Reasonable, $22 for 2 for lunch
I always stopBy prior to my Dr. appointment to bring them a box of delicious treats!!
First time at La Bonne, my fiance and I got the cinnamon roll, cinnamon pecan roll and the blackberry custard pie. The cinnamon rolls were just average, the blackberry custard pies crust was bland and dry, the custard was not very sweet or flavorful, the blackberries were fine.
We love this place! We have only been in one time so far and did not disappoint at all. We often talk about making another trip there to try some new sweet treats. The customer service was great, very friendly. Would recommend to anyone wanting a little taste of French Culture. 5 star all the way!
Nice, large selection of unique pastries. Good food in the restaurant, too. Definite recommend, if you're in the area, check it out.
My go to bakery. Love when the chef comes out and interacts with the customers. Macaroons are endless and tasty. I can't say enough about the freshness of all the baked items. Hard to pick a personal favorite. Great lunch spot.
I love them. From the pastries and cakes. You can get dipped berries. Tried the restaurant side and everything was good. Their carmel lattes are the best.
Just an amazing place ! Superb cakes , biscuits, cookies, etc etc ! The coconut macaroons are just delicious if you are a coconut fan ! Good place for a warm and cozy lunch as well.
Great service. Good portion size for what you pay. The pastries are really where its at though!
Very welcoming and cozy shop! Great spot to pop in and out of or sit and enjoy a coffee. The owner, Olivier, is really great and a pleasure to talk with. I spent the afternoon here waiting for a friend to pick me up and he made sure I had a pastry, cup of soup, and a piece of cheese cake while I waited, all on the house!! His generosity was fantastic!
La Bonne Bouchee is truly a magical place. I was visiting from out of state for a meeting with a client and wanted to bring pastries in for their staff. When I walked through the doors of La Bonne Bouchee, I was greeted to an amazing atmosphere with a warm and welcoming hospitality. If that was not enough, I was in admiration of the artistry and more importantly, to me at least, the taste of their craft. It is very apparent that they foster a level of care and professionalism for their craft and their customers that is seldom found. Unfortunately, they have now set a new bar in which I will judge all others.Well done La Bonne BoucheeSincerely,Wesley Carrera
Great food and pastries; the best in the St. Loius area. Love their secluded patio for breakfast or brunch. This is the real deal; no one who goes into the bakery leaves empty handed!
My family planned a get together on 1/25/20 as an early celebration of my 60th birthday (2/1/20). They ordered a chocolate mousse cake. It is simply “heaven on earth”!!! My sister who doesn’t really even like chocolate said that she felt the cake “stole the show”!We’ve been here several times, and no matter what sweet treats we choose to try and share, we are never disappointed. Thanks for making my birthday celebration so very fun and delicious! 😁
Shop having lots of varieties of pastries, cakes and macroons.
Nice selection. Polite staff. WAY overpriced place. Long lines to get to the counter.
This place is special for cakes and I have tried all of them. Every cake is unique and tasty. They make cookies on different themes. My favorite is Black Forest strawberry cake...the strawberries are very yummmmmm
I love this place! Our company comes here for breakfast once a month to recognize achievements and for a morale boost. The food is consistently great! Hard to do for 8 years and counting! The pastry department is amazing! The owner is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Come for breakfast, come for lunch or come to pick up the most amazing desserts for that special occasion, you will not be disappointed!
I love this place, but I walked in at 8:15 hoping to get a carry out order and two employees told me that the kitchen is closed. They close at 9 Pm so why is the kitchen closed 45 minutes before actual closing? I’ve also walked in before at 8:30 and had my carry out order still taken. This literally makes no sense.
Great food, pastries and coffee and free WiFi! Service is Excellent!
The most delicious and delectable pastry location in St. Louis. You literally can't go wrong with anything you pick for a sweet treat here. They even where able to do a custom cake order for my family for a more difficult type of cake. The staff is full of amazing, lovely people.
Our dear friend is gluten intolerant. She was completely SHOCKED when we served her a gluten-free cake from here that she actually thoroughly enjoyed. It depresses me that she couldn’t believe she was eating a cake that was just as good as any other cake. It’s horrible that they need to settle for less. La Bonne Bouchée simply does not make bad desserts. That’s all there is to it.
Excellent service and food
Talk about variety. They had so many options it was hard to choose! We got the blueberry custard tart, a mini pecan pie, and pistachio macaroons. The macaroons were totally my fave! Great flavor, crispy, sweet but not like pure sugar like some macaroons are. The fruit tart was yummy. The pecan pie was super sweet but that’s pretty normal for pecan pie. Next time I was to try out some different stuff. Too many things, not enough stomach space
The highest production quality, freshest fruit, and combination of pastry and cream
A great place to pick up a few desserts to share with family or friends. They always have an excellent selection.
Ok, here's the deal.I've been going to this place for years because I absolutely adore their desserts. They have a wide variety of items, like cake, macarons, pastries, etc. And every single one I've tried so far has been next level.Something about today's slices of cake compelled me to write this review. The pastry gods have spoken and they have blessed me with this 15 out of 10 cake instead of the 10 out of 10 I'm used to getting at La Bonne Bouchee. I took one bite and instantly felt myself leaving this dimension and my thoughts were suddenly narrated by Gordon Ramsay. "This cake is bloody delicious. The flavors are on point, the savory flavor is there, excellent job."Y'all gotta try their desserts out. Seriously. I've been impressed every single time, but today was simply unforgettable.
Yeah I'm a desert fan, and this place is awesome. So many choices to choose from, someday maybe get to most of them.
This is definitely not your ordinary breakfast place. Menu is simple yet classy. From omelette to pancakes and egg Benedict, that’s pretty much it. Even the server doesn’t do unnecessary talkings, it’s just all down to business. Pastries by the front entrance are definitely eye catcher and the entire dining area felt like a garden in the backyard.
This place is outstanding! The owner is super nice. They have an excellent selection of pastries and macrons. And of course, everything we've tried is delicious!
The BEST bakery in St. Louis by far! The cakes, pies, tarts, cookies, croissants, Everything is delicious. I hear they have great breakfast but I never make it that far. You'll understand one you step inside.😊
Love this place! Haven't been here in years and they didn't fail me!! Bakery has everything - beautiful meringues and fresh pastries to die for. The freshest bread! House dressing is a wonderful vinaigrette. Quiche and French onion soup are fabulous. Love their croissants. Excellent service. Casual and cozy. Perfect for wedding or baby showers. My 10 year old daughter said it's her new favorite!
Have you taken your girl out for sweets to Dairy Queen? Cold stone? Oberweis? Yeah, she's bored of ice cream. Take her to this French bakery! Cute little tables like on a street in France. She'll love it 😉
If you still haven’t been to La Bonne Bouchée for some reason - you are crazy! This place is awesome. From the owner Olivier to his staff the service is exceptional but when it comes to the pastries they are all out of this world delicious. Following time honored techniques and highest quality ingredients every item is worth eating again and again and again. Dine in with your friends and share bites or take a box back to the office to earn a promotion or atleast a pay raise.
There are not words for how wonderful the French onion soup and pastries are. And the rolls, they are phenomenal. Very friendly service and amazing food.
Got here 30 minutes before the listed closing time, only to find the place pitch black and no staff. I could understand if maybe they closed early due to the pandemic going on, but they could have at least put a sign on the door and maybe changed their hours online for the foreseeable future. I just wanted to quarantine myself with some macaroons and a bottle of wine. 😓
I have a friend from the area that recommended this place to me. Her words: bring a cooler. I loaded up on the prettiest cakes and treats, plus a full box of macarons. This place is very worth going to. Check out the website, because it is so much more than the exteriors lets on. I wish we could have stayed for lunch, because I can only assume it is as amazing as the many desserts we consumed.
So happy great food great service!we will be back soon.
Great desserts as always. Never disappoints. Try the rum ball your mouth will thank you.
